Historical Fiction Review

Hart's Truth by Kelly Long was okay. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't awesome either.

Hart Pagett travels to Renew, Pennsylvania in 1920 to apply for the position of assistant to Dr. Mcguire since he is going blind. He gets the position and begins to fall for the doctor's daughter Abby. Abby is a Christian, but Hart struggles with his view of God because his parents died as missionaries and left him behind for his spinster aunts to raise. It's about Hart's journey back to God and the McGuire's part in helping him.

I thought it was pretty boring.... It could have been so much better! Now I know why it was so cheap to get the Kindle version! LOL
