Our Fourth Anniversary

We had a great anniversary!!! Plus, Ben had a four day so we got to hang out a lot. It was really nice. :-) He's back to his 12 hour days now. I think it ends on the 17th so not too much longer.... :-)

We went out to Nami - a Japanese steak house right by our housing division - and just sat at the regular table instead of doing the "show". lol It was more cozy. Then we went to Hastings b/c Ben got me a gift card there. For those of you who don't know, it sells new books, used books, and new books cheap so I was able to get 5 books I have been dying to read!!!!!! The best gift EvEr! ;-) Made my day. Only one book was the regular price so I didn't do too bad. Megan - you will eventually borrow these. ;-) He also got me a cool flower arrangement so instead of just roses it had greenery and some purple flowers that looked like baby's breath. Anyway, I had a lot of fun arranging it.

Saturday we went to Georgetown and Round Rock to shop. We got Kaylee some cheap toys that she loves. We have only given her the one so far b/c she loves it so much we decided to wait awhile and surprise her with the rope toy. (It has a tire hooked to a rope.) Anyway, we gave her the squeaky ball toy first. She is like a little kid with that thing. She wants to play with it more than eat her food! LOL So funny. I won't let her keep it in the bedroom b/c she will wake me up squeaking it. :-D She is such a nut.

So here are some pictures from our night out. Well, when we got home. lol

I like this one even though it's blurry. :-)

I like the way Ben looks in this one.

My 30 week belly. :-)

I think this is funny b/c I don't look pregnant. ;-)

The pretty flowers Ben got me.

The carrier we got for Kaylee. I'm trying to get her used to it. It will help if we can train her to go into the crate whenever we need her to with the baby. I can get her in by herself now with a lot of coaxing........

That's about it for the news. I think.... ;-)

So glad you had a happy anniversary! Your baby bump is definitely growing--so exciting! The crate for Kaylee is a GREAT idea. Maybe have a toy that she loves but she ONLY gets it in the crate? Call me if you need to!

We've been giving her a special treat just for the crate. But I was thinking about giving her her peanut butter filled kong only in the crate. Yesterday she stayed inside of it without being scared! I closed the door to get her used to it but still she did it!
