Review: Stranded

Stranded by Dani Pettrey is the third in the Alaskan Courage series. This is another great suspense story. Not as good as the first two, but still it was pretty good. I can't wait to read the next one in the series. :-)

Darcy St. James is joining a cruise ship as an adventure journalist because her friend, Abby an investigative reporter, called her in to help. Once Darcy arrived on board the Bering, they made plans to meet up later that evening. But when Darcy arrives at her friend's cabin, Abby never answers the door. Feeling unsettled, Darcy leaves, but then she hears about someone who went overboard that same night. She can't find her friend anywhere and is beginning to suspect foul play.

Gage McKenna is leading a new venture on the Bering for Last Frontier Adventures. He is shocked to see Darcy in the staff meeting as the adventure journalist. When he finds out she is undercover, all his anger at her job comes roaring back. But when he realizes the enormity of her mission, he becomes terrified for her safety. As they both look for Abby, they start to become closer. Will they be able to figure out who is doing all this and catch them before it is too late?

These books remind me a lot of Dee Henderson's O'Malley series. The siblings are close, and you can't wait to hear how all of them are. And speaking of can't wait, I can't wait for Kayden's story! She has intrigued me from the beginning. :-)

I was given this book free from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review.
