Review: For Every Season

For Every Season by Cindy Woodsmall is the third in the Amish Vines and Orchards series. It was interesting... I just get so irritated at most of the main characters! LOL I enjoy reading about Leah, Landon, and Samuel (for the most part haha), and honestly, the only reason I keep reading it is because I want to know how everything will get resolved.

I highly recommend you read this series in order as each book is a continuation of one story. But don't worry, the books end well so you're not left hanging. :-)

Now for the review. :-)

Rhoda Byler has been living her Englisch neighbors ever since she talked to Jacob about what happened between Samuel and her. She longs for peace between them all again, but until then she tries to reassure Jacob by staying away from Samuel. But it is killing her to have such discord. She is determined to talk to the brothers so they can clear the air.

Not only is Jacob furious with Samuel, but Samuel is furious at himself for losing control the way he did. He is determined to do nothing else to ruin it for Jacob and Rhoda, but what about his own heart? Will he ever recover?

Amidst all the emotional angst, they have financial struggles with the orchard. Samuel has some tough decisions to make, and when he thinks he has it all figured out they get hit with below freezing tempatures. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the trees already budding.... Will Rhoda be able to save the trees and her relationship with Jacob?

I'm curious how the story will continue in the fourth book. I enjoyed this book just not the weird ability Rhoda has. It is very creepy and wrong to me.

I was given this book free from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for an honest review.
