Fiction Review

When Hope Blossoms by Kim Vogel Sawyer is a really good book!!

Amy Knackstedt is a widow with three children who decides to move to Weaverly, Kansas to start a new life. A few other Mennonite familes from another town move at the same time so they can all help and support each other. Out of them all, Amy chooses to live on the farm so her kids can have a big area to play. Her neighbor, Tim Roper, is an orchard owner, but more importantly used to be a Mennonite. At first Tim is very standoffish, but then Amy and her kids start to move into his heart and slowly opening him up.

As Amy struggles with how her husband died and the changes in her son from an accident, she still keeps her eyes on God. It makes Tim rethink his own life and why he really ran from being a Mennonite.

I thought this book was way better than her last one. It was an enjoyable read. :-)

I was given this book free as long as I review it.
