Review: Rules of Murder

Rules of Murder by Julianna Deering is the first book in the Drew Farthering Mysteries. I really really liked this book!! If you like Agatha Christie's books, you will love this story. :-) To me the best part about the story was how hard it was to figure out who did what. Made for an awesome read. I haven't read such a great mystery in a looonnggg time, and I highly recommend you give this book a try.

Drew Farthering arrives home amidst another one of his mom's house parties. While he's hanging out with his stepfather's niece, Madeline Parker, they discover a dead man in the greenhouse. Shocked they immediately report it, but as the investigation continues they still don't have any conclusive evidence. Will they be able to find the murderer before he kills more people?

I loved the interplay between Drew and Madeline. They were funny and just right for this type of book. Actually, they kinda reminded me of The Thin Man movies so if you liked those you will probably like this story. :-)

I was given this book free from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review.
