Our New House

Hey! Ben's home! I took pics for you all last week, but I've been really tired so I've only done the things I need to do. But it's updated now! I don't have to do this again for a little while. lol

Mom found this green roses at a grocery store here. They were so beautiful!

Here's the diningroom. I finally have a secretary desk!!! See it off by it's lonesome in the corner? It is beautiful. I found it on sale at a furniture store. Had to get it. Ben put together the buffet on the other side of the room, and Mom did the table and chairs. Ben tightened all the screws, though, cuz Mom didn't have time to do that. Tightening the screws took awhile!
I went for forest colors. Mom is the one who mentioned green, and then I decided to do it after I didn't want to at first. lol I'm going to paint a calla lily to go above the buffet and on either side of the window I'm painting earthenware pots. So whenever that's done I'll put it on here. It'll be awhile, though. :-D

The livingroom. We are getting a black recliner to go at the end of the rug by the door and a black bookshelf to go where the brown one is currently.

Mom put together the tv stand for me. The ceilings here are so high!

The kitchen. They moved the top cabinets lower for me. Don't know if you can tell or not.

If you look under the sink, you'll notice they took out the cabinets and took away part of the bottom of the cabinets entirely so that I can do a complete turn in the kitchen. When I'm hooked up and have the big bag it can be difficult, but it still works.

The bathroom. Mom put together that cabinet, too.

The bedroom.

I always tell Ben that he never takes good pics of me, but he did take some good ones last week. Here's one.

This is Zach and Ashley's son, Nicholas. He's 16 months old and so sweet. Ashley did a good job with him.

A close up.

I made ribs for the first time last Sunday. It was a Brazilian recipe. You boil it in lots of spices till the water goes away and then brown them a bit. Ben took these pics of the ribs.

Ben's fave.

I'll end with Ben and I.

There ya have it. Leave me a message. :-)
